Step 1 – Assemble Your No Sew Stocking Pattern
You will need to assemble the pattern. For instructions on how to assemble the pattern click here.
When cutting the fringe, cut down the black line to the outline of the pattern. Once you have assembled and cut out the pattern it’s time to cut the fabric.
Step 2 – Cut Out the Stocking Shape and Tie the Fringe
Cutting out this pattern nicely is crucial to it working properly. Please take your time.
Cut 2 of the body. If you want to use netting, cut an 1 additional stocking piece from netting.
I recommend cutting out the entire outline of the no sew christmas stocking pattern first,
and then go back and cut slits for the fringe with all the stocking layers stacked.
Start on one side of the stocking and work your way around to the other side,
tying each section of fringe into a square knot.
There will be a slight gap at the toe, just tie the it shut using the ties next to each other.
Step 3 – Trim and Finish the Fringe for a Clean Look
If you desire you can trim the fringe ends shorter or just leave it – enjoy! You just finished no sew Christmas stocking patterns tutorial.
