I confess that the majority of furniture in my office is from Ikea. Honestly whoever designed the Expedit line must have been a crafter! It’s great shelves with little cubbies are perfect for organizing craft and sewing items. My only complaint with Ikea furniture is that it’s very modern looking ( I’m more traditional). If you look online there are tons of tutorials of people who Ikea “hack” which is taking Ikea pieces and making new furniture or personalizing it more. I’m not big on major power tools, but here’s a really basic “hack” to make your Ikea furniture look a little more personalized… switch out the knobs!
You can interesting knobs at your local hardware or hobby store. Just take out the old knob put in the new ones and that’s it. Instantly better looking drawers!
