Fleece Fun Is back – and I’ve brought reinforcements

After weeks of limited posting Fleece Fun is back on the air!!  I am so excited for this Fall Season.  I have it jam packed of all kinds of wonderful tutorials, free patterns, and info that you’ve come to expect from Fleece Fun.

I confess this last year I’ve really struggled with this blog after having a baby and battling postpartum depression.   In some ways Fleece Fun  became an obsession bordering on a torment.  This past summer I’ve been working on  finding a balance in life.  Instead of putting all my energy into the blog, I took time and put it to my health.  I changed how I ate and started to exercise more.  I got a little distance from the business of blogging and a little more perspective.  I decided what I like and what I don’t like to do.   I like sharing free patterns and tutorials with you.  I like making video tutorials to make them easy to follow.  What I don’t like is all the other items required to keep a blog running that distract me from doing that.

As much as I would like to think I can do everything, I can’t.  There isn’t enough time, energy or sanity for me to do it all.  There are some amazing women out there who can build an entire blogging empire and still have time to raise 6 kids and get dinner on the table.  I am not one of them.  So I’ve brought in reinforcements.  I have some amazing bloggers that are going to to share recipes, sewing tutorials, printables and insights into family life.

Meet the 2014 Fall/Winter Fleece Fun Contributors:

You’ll see how amazing these women are with each post that they do.  But for now, feel free to click on their picture and visit their website to get to know them better!

I have some fun patterns planned for you.  Plus I’m excited to tell you that a few things that I started last year are coming back – bigger and better! (Remember Handmade Saturday? -I’m taking that to a whole new level).  And thanks to these fabulous contributors I’m going to be able to bring you more of what Fleece Fun is – free and easy sewing patterns.  Fleece Fun is now back in full force – let’s start sewing!  Remember: Velvet is pretentious.  Fleece is Fun.
