How to Make Holiday Homemade Lotion

You can make this holiday homemade lotion for some great handmade gifts.  With a a few simple ingredients this lotion is fun and easy to put together.  Make a little batch or a larger one for several of your friends.

For this project you will need:

Cetaphil lotion

Essential oil (like peppermint) or Fragrances (I used this fun winter Fragrance set)

4 oz Lotion Bottles 

Food Coloring

Fleece Fun’s free printable (available below)

packing tape

How to make Holiday Homemade Lotion

Step 1 – Assemble the ingredients

Gather all the ingredients – I like to mix the items with a craft stick or disposable spoon.

Step 2 – Mix

Pour a generous 1/2 of lotion into a bowl.

Mix in a drop of food coloring.

Next add 3 to 6 drops of fragrance or essential oil.

Step 3 – Prep the bottle

I’ve found the easiest way to put the lotion into bottles is to put is into a plastic bag.

Then  snip a corner and use it to pipe the lotion into the bottle or bottles.

Cut out the printable and 

tape to the bottle with packing tape.
