Foodie Friday: Chocolate Chip Cookies (milk and egg free)

I’ve mentioned that my oldest daughter has a milk and egg allergy.  A few of you have written to me mentioning that your children struggle with the same allergies, so I am always on the look out for fun treats that we can make for her and pass on the information to you.  I was in the store the other day and came across this amazing bag of chocolate chips – that were dairy, nut and soy free!  I bought them and took them home.  I decided to sample them before telling my daughter, and to my surprise they were good!  We made her first bath of chocolate chip cookies!  My husband ( who is a wonderful baker) likes to add a little fake butter flavoring to the dough to help with the flavor.  For ideas on cooking egg free my mom has an article on her website here.
