Knit skater skirts are super easy to sew, and are flattering on nearly all body types. They are also very comfortable to wear and can be dressed up or dressed down with different accessories and layers.
This skater skirt is a half circle skirt, rather than a true circle. This means it takes up quite a bit less fabric! The waistband is a yoga style band, sewn from cotton lycra. You can wear it folded over, like I do here, or pulled up for a tummy tucking effect. It is very ‘post baby’ friendly, and can also be used as maternity wear!
