The concern is with getting loose flowing jammies close to open flames or coils in space heater.
Pants like the currently in-style lounge pants should not be a problem.
I’ve made gowns and lounge wear for my daughter from it.

Fleece items for sale in the store are treated with a flame retardant as is required. Now legally I can’t tell you that it’s ok. However I will be honest and tell you that for myself, I have made pajama pants from fleece purchased from a store that didn’t meet the sleepwear requirements.

I would like to make my 9 year old granddaughter a pair of fleece lounging pants to match her American Girl doll’s, but the fabric bolts on fleece say that they are flammable and not to be used for sleepwear. What are your thoughts on this topic?
