The concern is with getting  loose flowing jammies close to open flames or coils in  space heater. 
Pants like the currently in-style lounge pants should not be a problem.  
I&#039;ve made gowns and lounge wear for my daughter from it.]]></description>

Fleece items for sale in the store are treated with a flame retardant as is required.  Now legally I can&#039;t tell you that it&#039;s ok. However I will be honest and tell you that for myself, I have made pajama pants from fleece purchased from a store that didn&#039;t meet the sleepwear requirements.]]></description>
