Wallternatives gave me the opportunity to try one of their products. I confess I love vinyl for decorating. It’s fast and easy. I’ve cut out some decor with my Cricut, but I hate weeding the vinyl and then transferring it with transfer tape. So I love the idea of picking out a fresh modern design, picking from over 18 colors to choose from and having it sent right to my door.
I decided I wanted to spruce up a blank wall in my girls room.
By the way their room is so tiny I am standing in the closet while I took the above photograph.
I decided I would use “Wishing on Dandelions” to add a little fun to the wall.
To get a good idea of the spacing and placement, I taped them up to the wall.
Then I peeled away the backing and laid the transfer tape on the wall, Using a popsicle stick I applied pressure to the vinyl to secure it. Then I peeled away the tape. Easy peasy, it only took me about 15 minutes. It probably would have taken less time if I didn’t have to get a snack for my daughter in the middle of it.
Now the blank wall has some character. Yay!
Wallternatives has several designer vinyl decals to choose from. They also have WallPrints™ Fabric Decals, ChalkTalk™ Chalkboard, WallAppeal™ Removable Wallpaper (COMING SOON), and EtchLook™ Decals to look like etched glass (COMING SOON).
I have to say I am pleased with the fast result. Now I am sure there is another spot in my house that could use some sprucing up.
