Ingredients

  • Recipe:
  • 4 C . Goody Mix
  • 2 tsp . ginger
  • 1 tsp . cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp . nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp . allspice
  • 1/4 tsp . cloves
  • 1/2 C . molasses
  • 1 tsp . vanilla extract
  • 1/2 C . softened butter
  • 1 C . buttermilk
  • 1/2 C . sour cream
  • Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 1/2 C . softened butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tsp . vanilla
  • 3-4 C . powdered sugar
  • Maple Molasses Buttercream Frosting
  • 1/2 C . softened butter
  • 2 T . real maple syrup
  • 2 T . molasses
  • 1 tsp . vanilla
  • 3 C . powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients 3-5 minutes on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
  • Bake in 2 greased and floured 8X8 or 9X9 pans at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Frosting: Mix until whipped
