This project uses items from my Fourth of July Printable collection. Be sure to check out all of the collection for more fun patriotic decor ideas. For Fun I decided to try taking my pinwheels from my 1776 collection and put them on a vine wreath. If was fun, fast and looks great.
You will need:
pdf print outs of the large pinwheels from the 1776 Collection
pdf print out of the small pinwheels from the 1776 collection
hot glue gun
vine wreath
Here’s how to make a Fourth of July Wreath:
Step 1 – Make the pinwheels
Make several large and small pinwheels Tip: to make my pinwheels double sided I glued two printouts together (white sides together) and then cut the diagonal lines and made the pinwheel.
Step 2 – Arrange the pinwheels on the wreath
Once all your pinwheels are made take your wreath and play with the placement of them.
Step 3 – Attach them to the wreath
Once you are satisfied with the Placement, glue down the pinwheels. for the small pinwheels sitting on top of the larger I glued a pipe cleaner to the back side of the small pin wheel and then glued the other end of the pope cleaner to the wreath to give it a more 3D effect.
Step 4 – Show it off
Place on your door and show off your patriotism.
BTW – did you grab your free iron on printable that matches the 1776 collection? It looks really good on an apron – great for cook outs! You can grab that here.
Great tutorial, and the wreath looks amazing!!!
