I have to honest this is one of my favorite patterns I’ve created so far. My little girl claimed this cape for her immediately on her own. She wants to wear it all the time – even around the house! I’ts soft and warm and I confess I love hugging her when she’s wearing it. The great party is the design of this cape is great fro travel. This works as a car seat poncho , your kid can have their restraints underneath the cape – so you don’t have to deal with the bulk.
A couple things you need to be aware of – this is one of my most complicated patterns – so it’s not for beginners. I used cuddle fabric, but it will work with regular fleece, and jersey knit. But I have to confess nothing feels like cuddle fabric! You can get Fleece Fun’s free pattern and tutorial here.
