Free Pirate Theme Printables
Here is where you’ll be able to get all the free pirate theme printables used at our pirate party! Use these printables for your own pirate activities or party or just to make a Wednesday more interesting. The hats come in three different types, the treasure map makes for a great game and the mini flags are great for decorating food, centerpieces, etc.

Free Pirate Theme Printables:
Pirate hat Printable
To make the Pirate Hat:
Step 1 – Cut out the hat
Print up the pirate hat on cardstock.
Cut out hat.
If you are using the “decorate your own” version you can color it before or after you cut it out.
Step 2 – Punch the holes
Punch holes with hole punch where marked. To strengthen the holes you can put tape around them or fasteners like these.
Step 3 – Add the thread or elastic
Using thread elastic or thin elastic either tie or tape onto hat (12 inches or more for each side works), adjust to needed size.
Put on and run around the house yelling “Arrg! I be a pirate!”
This printable has three versions of the hat that you can print up. The first is a blank sheet that kids can color, the second is a hat that is black and white, and the third can be printed in color. Click Here to Download the Hat pdf.
Black Beard’s Pirate Treasure Map
Print up the clues cards and the map.
The idea is that Black Beard was lost at sea before he could complete his pirate treasure map. He did however leave “clues” as to how to find the treasure.
Have the kids follow the clues you set out and draw their own map to find the treasure! The treasure could be a snack, jewelry, new coloring books, whatever you want. Download the free printable here.
Mini Pirate Jolly Roger Flags
Perfect for various crafts (or just fun to stick on food) these Jolly Roger flags are cute and easy to make.
Print up the free printable and cut out the flags, fold them in half (so the white or back side of the paper in touching.
Take a toothpick and some glue (glue stick will work) Fold the flag round the toothpick and glue together. Get the free printable here.
