I love this teacher gift idea. This is perfect for the start of the school year. I love this easy DIY idea for a gift from a student.

The teacher gift idea and free printable makes a great gift for the start of the school year! Fill it up with teachers favorite treats. In the sample I’ve used M&Ms but nuts, or gum are also a great options too!

For this project you will need:

A mason jar

Bird feeder base

Jute or burlap

Twine

Glue Gun and glue sticks

Scissors

Step 1 – print up the freebie

Print up the printable and cut it out. Yo can trim the corners to make is more fancy if you want.

Step 2 – cut and fray jute

Cut a square of jute a little larger than the printable and fray the edges by pulling gently on the strings on all four sides.

Step 3 – Glue the jute to the printable.

Using your glue gun glue the printable to the jute

Step 4 – add to the jar

Glue the printable or the tie to the jar. Add a treat and screw on the feeder.
