Craft Room Hanging Organizer Tutorial

We moved recently, and I am so happy to have my own dedicated sewing space! No more machines and fabric on my dining room table. The only downside is that it is a corner of a dark basement, so I wanted to make something cheery, and practical, to brighten up my space.
I created this hanging craft organizer for all the tools and supplies I like to keep right at hand. It includes 2 larger pockets and 3 smaller pockets. I sewed the pockets from vinyl so that I can quickly find my tools.
The organizer hangs by grommets. I hung mine on the handy thread organizer my husband made for me, but you can also hang it on a peg board, small nails in the wall, or even command hooks.
It is a super fast sew, and only uses 2 fat quarters, a small amount of batting, and a scrap of vinyl. I’ve included all the measurements, but it can easily be customized for any size space.
