I found these beautiful stencils via pinterest. As I am sure you can tell I am a sucker for a damask print. I fell in love with these stencils and purchased them several months ago and was just itching to get them out and use them! I figured my office would be a good place to see if I liked them. I purchased my stencil here – www.cuttingedgestencils.com the specific stencil I used was the Wild Berry Damask Stencil. The website has video tutorials and tips that make using the stencil easily. I used their level kit and roller kit offered on the website. Using the stencil was easy, but it does take a lot of time to do it right. One thing I did learn is that I will never use a latex paint on one of these stencils again. It build up on the stencil and was almost impossible to get off without major scrubbing plus chemicals. When I do use one of these stencils again I’ll stick to acrylic paint. I do have to say the results are stunning and I am very happy with this wall!
I added my studio sign
I made this sign cutting out vinyl from my cricut machine. My studio sign says Studio: 1. the workroom of an artist 2. a room specially for broadcasting. Pretty accurate in my case!
