Muslin Baby Bib Pattern and Tutorial
Cut two bib pieces (mirror images).
Pin both bib pieces with wrong sides facing. Cut out a small scrap of fabric and sandwich it between the two layers at the two snap markings. This extra layer is not necessary if you are using velcro but is needed to prevent snaps from pulling through the fabric.
Because muslin is wrinkly and stretchy, you may have some parts that are no longer even. That is ok, just trim close to your stitching line. This will make it easier to apply the bias tape. If you want a super easy project, you can leave the edges raw and be finished! The stitching will keep the fabric from fraying.
(Keeping it real…I missed a spot so I had to go back and unpick it and resew!)
