Lego Brick Inspired Pillow Tutorial

Hi there! Stacey of Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy Crafts. Today, I’m back again to share a Lego Brick inspired pillow that’s sure to please the Lego fan in your life.

Lego Brick Inspired Pillow Tutorial:

step 1 – assembling the pieces

Once your fabric is cut, arrange your circles in the middle of one rectangle, evenly in 2 rows of 4 circles. 

Pin, or if using fusible interfacing, iron in place. If you are using sweatshirt fleece, you’ll want to place right sides together so the contrast side of the circles is showing.

Top stitch each circle in place.

step 2 – sew the rectangles together

Place rectangles, right sides together, pin and sew around the outside edge using a 1/2 inch seam allowance and leaving a 5 to 6 inch space for turning.

step 3 – sew the seams of the lego brick pillow

Clip the corners and trim seam allowance to 1/8 of an inch.

step 4 – stuff the pillow

Turn right side out, gently poke the corners out with a chopstick and stuff with fiber fill. You’ll want to fill this good and full as the stuffing will flatten the more use the pillow gets.

step 5 – finish the lego brick pillow

Press the opening inward and slip stitch the opening closed.

Now go make one in each Lego brick color because a pile of these is even more fun than one! Enjoy your Lego Brick Inspired Pillow!
