Flapper Headband / Ear Warmer No Sew Slim variation Tutorial/ how to / DIY

You can make a no sew ear-warming headband - flapper style free pdf pattern! You can make a beautiful no sew fleece headband that is stylish and warm without a sewing machine!!You will need the following:
1/8 fleece (or jersey knit)
Iron
1 to 1.5 inches Iron on Velcro
Rotary Cutter and mat.
Like the flower? Get the Tutorial here.

Download the free pattern here.

You can get a free copy of Adobe reader here. By downloading  you are agreeing to pattern terms of use. Click the picture of the pattern envelope to download the .pdf !

1 – Cut out patter using rotary cutter

Print up the pattern (you can get assembly instructions here)

Cut out pattern pieces.

I recommend a rotary cutter because it gives you such a nice clean line, as the edges won’t be finished. But if you have a steady hand scissors will work too.

2 – Add the Velcro

Wrap the band around your head to gauge where the Velcro needs to be placed.  Then using a pressing cloth (you don’t want to melt your fleece) iron the hook side on to the right side of the band at the end.  Reap on the other end of the band, ironing on the loop side to the wrong side of the fabric.
You’re finished!  If you would like to add a nice flower check out theSatin flower tutorial, or the fleece Chrysanthemum tutorial.

I cannot seem to download the patterns. I’ve done it last winter but can’t seem to get them now. What am I doing wrong? I love this site. It is one of my favorites! Thanks.

      Hi Carol,
I’m sorry you’re having trouble. I just checked this page and it’s working fine. The pattern is located on the pattern envelope. A lot of my pages require an email to be filled out and it’s sent to you from there.
