Hi there! Stacey of Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy Crafts. I stopped by last month to share a fun and free Samauri Hat pattern and tutorial. Today, I’m back again to share a Lego Brick inspired pillow that’s sure to please the Lego fan in your life.
Here’s what you’ll need.
– Eight 2 1/2 inch circles in fleece or sweatshirt fleece (this is a great tool for that)
– Optional; fusible interfacing
– polyester fiber fill
– coordinating thread
Lego Brick Inspired Pillow Tutorial:
Step 1: Once your fabric is cut, arrange your circles in the middle of one rectangle, evenly in 2 rows of 4 circles. Pin, or if using fusible interfacing, iron in place. If you are using sweatshirt fleece, you’ll want to place right sides together so the contrast side of the circles is showing. Top stitch each circle in place.
Step 3: Clip the corners and trim seam allowance to 1/8 of an inch.
Step 4: Turn right side out, gently poke the corners out with a chopstick and stuff with fiber fill. You’ll want to fill this good and full as the stuffing will flatten the more use the pillow gets.DIY Lego Mini-figure inspired cushion
Now go make one in each Lego brick color because a pile of these is even more fun than one!
