Festive holiday shirt made with the Let Us Sew free SVG from fleecefun and free template and tutorial

I have lined up some of the most talented group of sewists from around the web to share ideas that you can use every Saturday from now until Christmas to make handmade items for your loved ones, your home or yourself!

To kick off the season I thought I would share this cute shirt using the Let Us Sew Free SVG to get you into the holiday sewing spirit!

YOU WILL NEED:

  • Fleece Fun’s Free SVG file (grab it at the end of the post)
  • HTV in two colors (I used white and silver glitter)
  • T – shirt
  • Cricut Maker
  • Weeding Tools
  • Bright Pad
  • EasyPress
  • EasyPress mat
  • Light grip mat
  • Get the free SVG file here.
  • Holiday Cheer (ok not necessary, but it helps!)

Let Us Sew Free SVG Tutorial:

Step 1 – Download and Set Up the “Let Us Sew” Free SVG File

Fill out the form to get the email with the SVG attached. Upload it into Cricut Design Space. Be sure to select the groups and “Attach them” to each other so they will cut out correctly.

Step 2 – Cut out and weed the Heat Transfer Vinyl

Be sure to select “mirror” in design space and cut out the vinyl.

Weed the vinyl, take care around the snow flakes.

Step 3 – iron on the HTV to Create Your Festive Shirt

I like to Iron on the “Let Us” lettering

  2. Love this! My sewing space is in my bedroom. I can’t wait to get Halloween over with, so I can start decorating in there for Christmas and wintertime! I’ll be getting my Cricut and heat press out now! Thanks! Also, thanks for the baking parchment tip for layering designs on tee shirts, etc. I have teflon sheets, but baking parchment is much less expensive and readily available locally. Great tip!
