2 – Begin to Sew!

This free Christmas tree pillow pattern comes in three sizes! Free pdf pattern and video tutorial to make this easy Jolly Holiday decor for your home.If you want to add any decorations to the front of your Christmas pillow sew them on first.
With right sides together sew all around the pillow using a .25 seam allowance.  Be sure to leave a 2.5 to 3 inch gap in the bottom for turning a stuffing.

Optional:  You can sew cording/ piping on like I did in the example.  I like to pin and sew the cording on first with a zipper foot, then add the other side of the pillow.  Note that cording only works on the large pillow size.

3 – Trim and Turn

Trim the points so they will be nice and sharp, then snip slits (being careful not to cut your stitches) on the inside corners and along the curves to help with the tree shape.
Turn right side out, and carefully push out all of the pillow.

4 – Stuff the Christmas Tree Pillow

  1. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added”

    Appreciate it!
