Spider web Doilies – Free SVG Files Tutorial
Step 1 – Decide on the type of Spider Web Doily to Make
As I mentioned there are three types.

The full circle is good for sitting items on.

The half circle is good for the center of the shelf and the long one looks good on floating shelves. Decide which one you want to cut out and load the file into your software.
Step 2 – Cut out the Doily

This file will work with different materials – but my advice to you is a stiffer material will look better. I opted to use stiff felt for the the center doily and the floating shelves.

Since I like the fabric mat for felt I opted to use the rotary blade on my Cricut Maker. Cut out the Spider Web Doilies SVG file.

Pull the Spider Web off the mat.

The round doily will fit on a 12″ by 12″ sheet

I opted to use paper this time

As you can see it looks great!
Step 3 – Prep the Halloween Doilies for Hanging

For the center doily fold the top over to make a crease.

It should be a 90 degree bend so it can sit on the shelf.

For the wrap around shelf doily just a little more folding is needed.

First fold over so there is a bend in the little section that links the two spider webs.

Unfold and now fold over the top ( like we did for the center doily) so it can sit on the shelf.

It’s now ready to go on the shelf!
Step 4 – Place the Spooky Spider web doilies on the shelf
Tips for placing it on the shelf:

Sit something on the lip to make it stay.
Quick Tip
You can also use command strips or double sided tape.

A little pin where the fabric over laps is a great way to get the shelf wrap to stay.
