Valentine Wreath DIY
Step 1 – Prep the Love Sign to the Wreath
Start by painting the centers of the wood rounds black. Paint the dowel pink. Allow paint to dry completely.

Using the Cricut, cut the Love Cut File from the scraps of white heat transfer vinyl. Be sure to mirror the image.

Weed the Vinyl

Using the EasyPress, apply the letters to the wood slices, on top of the black paint. I love the Mini Easy Press for Projects like this!

Cut the paint stick to be the length of your wood slices laid side-by-side. You should be able to cut the paint stick with your scissors (I’ve even used a PVC cutter on paint sticks and it works great!). If not, you can use a small saw or even just break it–the paint stick will not show on the front of the wreath.

Hot glue the wood slices to the paint stick, laying side-by-side

in order to spell out “Love” for the Valentine’s Wreath.
Step 2 – Cover the Valentine Wreath DIY to Get the Red Sweater Look

Cut the two socks open from toe to top.

It will give you a nice length to work with.

Wrap the socks around the heart wreath form,

hot gluing them in place,

with the seam in the back of the Valentine wreath.

Trim any excess sock and tuck the ends under to make it look like a seam and hot glue it in place.

Repeat with the other side.
Step 3 – Make the Arrow for the Valentine Wreath DIY

Cut two small hearts

and 3 “v” shapes from the pink craft foam.

So you end up with these pieces.

Hot glue the two hearts on either side of one end of the pink dowel, with the point pointing outward to look like a heart arrowhead.

Then, hot glue the three “v” shapes onto the other end of the pink dowel.

Hot glue the arrow in place on the heart.

Layer the lettered wood rounds on top of the dowel and hot glue in place.
Step 4 – Finish off the Valentines Wreath

Wrap the faux vine around one peak of the heart.

Hot glue a paper flower to the faux vine.

Wrap a piece of twine around the other peak of the heart and hang! You just completed the Valentine Wreath DIY!
