This would make such a great holiday neighbor gift. Love this cute free printable and DIY gift idea for Christmas. This would make such a great holiday neighbor gift. Love this cute free printable and DIY gift idea for Christmas.

Dress up your homemade Hot Chocolate Mix in a jar with this adorable printable.  Simply use the free printable provided,  add a few embellishments and our in some hot cocoa mix! This is the perfect way to present some yummy homemade chocolate mix to you friends and neighbors!  By the way you can get a wonderful gourmet hot chocolate recipe here.

For this project you will need:

The Free pdf printable ( available below)

1 pint size mason jar (regular lid not wide mouth)

color printer and paper

glue gun or double sided tape

coordinating fabric scraps (optional)

Rotary cutter ruler and mat (if using fabric)

scissors

Twine  – this is the kind I used here

Free Hot Chocolate Printable for Mason Jars Instructions:

Step 1 – Print up the FREE Printable

Print up the mason jar pdf.  Using a color printer. It should appear as it is above with two wraps and 4 circles.

Step 2 – Cut out the Free Hot Cocoa Labels

Cut along the edge of all of the elements on the paper.

It should look like this once it’s cut out.

Step 3 – Add the Hot Chocolate Printable to the Mason Jar Exterior

Starting with the long label center the front circle and wrap the side around the jar.

They should meet in the back.

Cover the back seam with the “directions” label.

Now is a good time to fill the mason jar with your hot chocolate mix.

Next it’s time to add the topper to the lid.  You can either place it right on top of the lid or…

You can place a square piece of cloth ( between 4 to 6 inches) between the lid and the label for some extra design and flair.

Screw on lid with the fabric.  Tie some twine around with a bow and distribute to family and friends.
